Corporate support

The ED Society works hard to provide help and support to all those who are affected or have experience of ED. However our work would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers and fundraisers who enable us to give much needed help and support. With your support we are able to continue increasing awareness and raising the profile of Ectodermal Dysplasia.

As an organisation we rely totally on donations. There are many ways your company can get involved; as an employee you could try to get your company interested, or get some work mates together to fundraise. Many companies have a match-giving scheme whereby they will match any funds you raise and donate them to the ED Society!

Payroll Giving

This is a flexible scheme which enables you to make charitable donations straight from your gross salary (before tax has been deducted) therefore you get immediate tax relief on the value of your donation. This means a basic rate taxpayer wanting to donate £10.00 would only pay £7.80 and if you are a higher rate tax payer it will only cost 60p for every £1.00 you donate. Furthermore many employers are encouraging the scheme by matching their employee donations. This can be done regularly or as a one off!

Corporate Giving

If your company has a Charity Giving Policy they may like to consider donating to the ED Society as a regular annual giving or as a one off.

If you are a Charity Giving organisation supporting the work of charities and research and development projects, the ED Society would welcome any donations, small or large, to help us carry out specific projects, to help maintain our website or to provide much needed financial support to individuals and families in order that they may obtain cooling jackets or air-conditioning. Ectodermal Dysplasia is life-threatening when individuals overheat due to lack of temperature control and a simple cooling jacket would mean they could continue working in hot weather or partake in sporting activities etc.
